Its natural dampening is low, resulting in a very lush, concert-quality reverberation that fingerstyle players and custom luthiers absolutely love.

Workability & Appearance:
Ziricote is world-renowned for its breathtaking "landscape" or "spider-web" grain patterns, featuring dark chocolate-brown to black lines swirling across a lighter grey or olive background. It is a very hard and heavy wood. While it machines reasonably well, care must be taken as it can be somewhat brittle. It takes a high natural polish beautifully, making it a top-tier choice for luxury acoustic backs and sides, premium fretboards, and custom drop tops.
